So i was at the pet store the other day getting some crickets when I came across the aquarium air pumps.
long story short, i got a pump thats rated for up to 5 gallons (i have a 4 gallon water jug) the tubing and a descent size air stone.

I have it on a timer to go on for about 30 minutes of every hour.
I figured it will help oxygenate the water some.
Is this worth it? Or am i just wasting my time?

:pimp:

You can usually add oxygen to water by just shaking the shit out of the jug. You could make a little cloner out of your supplies tho.

so what? running the pump for just 10 minutes before i water is just as effective as running it all the time?

Yeah, unless you want to get all crazy and go for 30 min.

I think it will help. Leave it running for 2 hours before you water. Try adding hydrogen peroxide to help increase oxygen.

the problem with hydrogen peroxide is that it kills bacteria, both the good kind and the band. back when i had my hydro setup, we'd add a tablespoon or two, but that was in 12gallons of water....that little clone is looking pretty perked up, fyi
