Just wanted to ask the community for some insight on deformed plants and their viability and yields. I have a seedling I recently started; it has been growing under a florescent 60 watt light (1 soft white and a red-spectrum).
Will the plant be successful in growing and maturing properly, or should I just promptly dispose of it? Also, if they can maturate well, what are the plants possible yields?

As to deformed plants I had a plant that grew really weird (pic 1 below) It actually 4 single leaves making a cross shape leaf. Then it branched from below that top growth and I ended up getting this to grow! (pic 2 below)
As time progressed it produced these 2 main cola bud (pic 3+4 below). This was my first grow also, I could have done more to make this a better yield but I didn't want to mess anything up the first time.....But as for deformities, what's the age ol' saying, "Shit happens!" :D

Might want to add this to the section of Plant Problems! I believe most of the experts hang out there to help! If this gets moved, you may get more action. For a quick few more answers.
:rastasmoke:Interesting read and will be interested in the experts suggestions.
Italiano--what aheck of a nice plant and great for a first grow. Thanks for sharing, makes me want to scratch at it. Very nice. Pretty decent yield it appears!
I wonder if Vampire Hi would mind putting a picture in, if at all possible. Like, deformed leaves, and has all 5 or like described below?? Thanks PR

sorry took me so long to respond, I had to leave my computer for a while. Thanks for the pics and intuition. I'm confident in growing this plant now due to the fact that I have noticed that the 3rd tier of my plant is developing nicely. As for the pictures go, I don't have any way to place them on my computer.
I going to continue to let it grow and try a slight nutrient supplement to see how it takes, I'm going to use superthrive to see if the plant excepts it. Please comment more, it really helps out my growing process since I have never grown a deformed plant.
