Hi everyone! I have a question on when exactly to cut down the plants? I do have a microscope to look at the trichomes and i know that they are supposed to look like a golf ball on a tee. But is there any other things I should look at before harvesting. Keep smokin:jointsmile:

LOL I must say the search feature on this particular forum isn't fun, especially when you misspell or mistype, or just plain accidently double click the button, then it makes you wait 60 seconds to search again, or when the search returns squat, another 60 seconds till you can re-phrase. Very frustrating especially when stressed out and stoned!!;)

I remember back in the day when it took longer for a page to load. Be thankful, the internet is dangerously fast.

I do agree though, 60 seconds, it kills me.

Zandor is legit, but I totally got to disagree with his harvest time post.

First let's say there are only Indicas and Sativas. Where indicas are heavyier narcotic stones and Sativas are Soaring Highs. Clear is the state of the trich before the strong production of THC, where the very beginning stages of cloudy favors the Sativas and stage where the majority are amber favors Indicas. And every thing in between is custom to your hybrids.

The final thought is that while cloudy comes before amber you would think that would mean that Sativas would finish before Indicas, but its not true. Sativas are late finishers, just takes much longer to get their.

It's just like Tim Leary said ,there was only one true bach of acid. The rest were close but every grow and harvest is an individual choice.

Thank you Herbie. Thats exactly what I was looking for. And sorry everyone that I didn't say what kind they are. They are sativa's for sure. Also I put a few pictures so you all could see. Good smokin:jointsmile:

what happened to the serrated edges of the leaves?

are these grown under floros or low wattage CFLs?

or is it the strain?

these are Northernberry at 8 wks of flower, just waiting on the amber

I think it is the strain. Only using some good dro seeds. Havent gotten enough balls to order some yet. But the lights are 2 300 watt cfls. I have 2 for flowering and 2 for vegging. Would like to use HPS but I really dont want my electric bill going up. Also, how many plants do you having growing or almost ready and what kind of weight do you think you will get. Jw

don't use the search button on the site. try this intead. go to google and type your keyword followed by a space and then followed by site, a colon and the site name. like this:

"when to harvest site:boards.cannabis.com"

give it a shot.

there is a 1000W HPS and a 1000 halide in a 10x10 white room
those are top shots of two plants, they were both cut today
one should have 5-6 oz the other between 3-4 oz.

there were 9 plants now only7 but tomorrow will be 8
4 of the 8 are nevelles haze on the ceiling:stoned:
