Pages load up too Slowly. anyone else?

Quite frustrating. This site only. It takes so damn long to load up pages that the edit time times out while I'm waiting and waiting for the page to load up. I keep my best grow logs on this site, but I'm thinking of bagging that idea and putting the effort into a different site. I'll keep a grow log here, but not post as often. It really sucks, ya now? Am I alone in this problem? I was used to slow loading when I had dialup but I have cable now and this is the only site that's like this.

Unfortunately most forum systems, whether this is IPB of VB both forum systems have a server limit rating. Meaning, if the server gets to busy at a certain time, it will shut off the databases in the forum temporarily to allow the server to "cool down". This way you don't risk server crashes and actual downtime. Cannabis.com is filled with resource intensive applications, as well as quite a large number of visitors so put 2 + 2 together and a little server lag can be expected some time.

I've noticed it as well..the most logical thing I can come up with, as this happens even early thirty in the morning..Is most likely the amount of ports that are connected to "cannamedia.com..", something well over 100 connections I'm sure..which is probably just all of the advertisement, which don't bother me, because I like having all of this information at my fingertips..

It does seem like once I'm on here browsing around for a bit, it doesn't take near as long to load up posts and such..
