i'm referring to the space where the computer case is at. would i be able to grow a decent sized plant there? if so, any ideas on how i could set up the lights would be great. i'll be using CFLs :smokin:

pretty much any space can be made to grow in with a little thought. CFL's are nice because you can set them up in so many different ways. i would suggest checking out the cabinet growing threads, this is sure to have been discussed in many others. look at other cfl grows and look at their stuff.

Are you planning to grow in the computer or the whole cabinet? If your going to do the cabinet(more space). Remove that shelf/shelf hardware.

You can grow(veg/flower) two plants at a time in that small of space in about a 2-3gallon pot.

..Paint it flat white inside, start with 4/100-150 watt cfls.
..Get a light timer
..Get a thermometer w/humidity gauge put it at level with the base of the pot. ..Get some ventilation in there, small computer fans work well with a little wiring if you can, or discover a solution.
..You may run into a smell down the road, which a simple duct work with PVC and a carbon filter can take care of. Couple air fresheners could help keep the smell of dirty laundry down a bit.
...If you can afford more that this invest in lighting, but with that hps gives off more heat so you will want to accommodate you cabinet, I.E. better ventilation.

-Get some bag seed/ or if you can loose a 100 bones :Feminized seed from your local on-line site.

Best of luck.
