Hello Friends,

I have to take a basic drug screening for employment purposes.

I've already been told (by other employees) that I will be in private, so I've collected a sample from my friend who doesn't partake.

Problems are as follows:

1. It's frozen. I'm not sure when the test will happen, so how long can a frozen specimen be "good"?

2. She takes prozac. Will this show up? And if so, will it really matter? Can I just say that I'm on antidepressants and leave it at that?

I'm kind of freaking out so any advice is very appreciated.

frozen urine is good for a year or more.

prozac is not considered a drug of abuse there is little interest in detecting it and it is not part of routine employment drug screens.

no one asked me anything about what medications i was on when i took the pre-employment test... don't ask, don't tell.
