Hey guys, im a first time grower. After planting the seeds, i set up the lights and fan with pretty damp soil(I may have over watered). I was unable to check on my plants for about 2 days and the light came unplugged for most of the time. the seeds were sprouted and they had 2 in. long white stalks along the dirt. I fixed the lamp and got them going again. they seem to be doing pretty fine now but I was wondering if it would turn them into hermies or any potential damage in the future.
Thanks.

nah 2 days at that stage wont hurt ...but better too err on the side of too much light.

over-watering is the most common cause of death, in young seedlings ... wet, cool soil brings about Pythium Wilt (damp-off) ... be sure your plants go thru wet-dry cycles ... good luck :smokin:

thanks, out of 16 seeds or so I received 4 plants, not great, but 4 plants is all i can handle atm. most of them were lost to the overwatering issue i think. Does anyone know if doing the baking soda and vinegar trick provides enough co2 for plants?

I'd probably concentrate on getting them healthy before you start flowering them!! You say they just popped their skins? Right now just get them to about two-3 weeks old healthily then lets talk about c02 ok?

This was about 3 weeks ago, they seem to be strong and fine now. They seem to be growing slow because the changing temperature in the attic. But they are still strong and healthy, will try to post some pics tomorrow. how tall should they be before flowering.
Thanks and appreciate the patience.

How tall you should get them really depends on your space..imagine that they will usually gain about 1/3 height after you switch too 12/12.
