im cutting back

i decided today that im going to try cutting back on the weed. im a junior and right now i have a lot of things to get done in order to prepare for college. i feel that smoking weed is taking too much of my time and causing too much stress (worrying about where im going to get the next buzz, always running) to go along with worrying about the SATs and college visits and scholarships and grades and financial aid and essays and yadda yadda yadda.. ya know? i feel really tired and burnt out..

ohh and my smoking is getting pretty bad. i smoke every morning before school.. then i leave school with a couple friends and get high during lunch.. then after school i get high again.. and then well.. i just get high all day until i finally pass out at 12 at night.

so.. instead of smoking myself into oblivion ive decided to not smoke mon-thru.. i hope i can pull this off.

yeahh exactly ;] i think the four day break every week will be good for my buzz, too.. lately.. smoking as much as i have been - the buzzes havent really been anything but a nap to me.

Yes ~Bogart.bitch~ everything in moderation especially being a junior in high school. BTW what are you majoring in college? Yeah I use to toke up major myself yrs ago. Only thing is every time I said I was gonna quit or cut down it appeared everywhere even right to my door, didnt have to go looking either :rolleyes: The longest I quit was 9 months & then said, "Hell w/ it" now I use it mainly for medical reasons & mellow high to relax :cool:

GOOD LUCK! i did that exact same shit, wake n bake, missin lunch to bake, baking after school, the baking at night. Then i dropped out...so its a good thing ur cutting back :D


but i got my GED and pursing a music producing career...so far so good.

I haven't smoked in ages, either. For a job I have to take a test within the next 2 to 6 weeks. It's not so bad, you get used to it.

I think I should cut back alittle myself...but lifes stressing me out so much right now wouldent be a good time. Maybe next month things will get better and I can go back to my only the weekend ruitine. I really dont have that much money anyway. :)

I had a friend who didn't smoke pot for 3 months and then when he decided to smoke a little one night, he went British for 3 hours. Literally, had no clue he was even speaking in an accent. So yes I think its safe to say that taking a break every once and a while helps your buzz.

Hehehe, very true. One day I decided not to smoke it and just as the thought was forming in my head a friend came up and offered to share his 20 joints. :( lol.

I find quitting to be a bit hard at first, but easy once you get into it. I used to smoke it every spare I had at school, then after school, then when I got home. It was fun but I decided to stop for my marks (which weren't affected at the time, but I'm sure they would have been if I hadn't stopped). Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Yeah, I actually know what you mean now. I lmean, like when my mom called the cops on me a week ago, I thoguht it was the end of the world for the first 2 days.

Then I actually felt good about being clean, even though I was actually WORSE in math class. Anyway, I just toked up tonight for the first time 8 days, and it's the greatest high I've had in the past 3 moths. I'm so screwd up now, barely able to type, don't know what I'm doing kidna thing.

I'm in the same grade as you, and I'm worried. But, my guidance councellor said she can see me getting perfect in the two literature and reading subjects, the math I'll merely PASS. I already got 743 out of 800 on the PSATs. I feel bad because i'm not bragging, what I mean to say is, I'm worried, but I'm trying to just keep calm.

I am definitely going to quit 2 weeks before I actually take them in May, though. Just to make sure I'm at my best in the two good subjects.

My friend's grandma put her through rehab for weed. She sat around for an hour once a week talking to this guy who use to be addicted to crystal meth. Then after 2 months, she had to pass a drug test in order to pass, or the state would keep her there.

She said it was actually pretty funny. After she passed, we all celebrated by smoking 4 joints between the 4 of us.
