Any moderate users here ?

Hi,

I am new to this place and am wondering if there are any moderate users in this forum. Like the kind that uses once every now and then, just like casual alcohol usage.

In the past, I have used extensively but without much harm until I started using hard drugs. I have learned my lesson to stay clear from coke after 2 rehabs and now 5 years clean.

Last year, I found a guy who sold hash and bought 7 g's to try it out.It lasted about 1 year now I got another 7G but i am enjoying it more and more now once or twice a week.

I am not really worried about going back to hard stuff and would like to hear about casual users who can keep the smoke in check !

Oh and by the way, when I smoke, I cant sleep ! I got this mild anxiety thing going on and it just makes it a bit worse but its still a great ride. Just have to make sure to get enough sleep.

I do coke everyonce and awhile. Maybe once or twice a month if that. Been 3 months or so since i have last. I blaze everyday, only way i can get a good nights sleep is to be stoned.

I know that it will never be possible to do hard stuff moderatly in my case because I have been in such a nightmare.

Have you been as moderate for a while ?

when I recall my earlier years, I had become a regular user but remember not needing a lot to survive, like a few small tokes a day and espcially at night before sleep.

I'd really like this to stay like it is now. It does kinda grow on you.
Just going thru this forum give me ideas ;-) gotta be careful.

If I have weed I smoke everyday but I can go without weed if need be. I have the occasional roll or two (once a month) and will do acid whenever its around (which isnt very often).

I been smoking out for years now due to medical problems. I have not ever done anything hard at all. I never do anything that is man made. If it is man made there is room for error, and I do not want to get fucked up for someone elses mistaken measuring, cutting my shit with rat poison or whatever the fuck. I imagine the people that make that shit and just fucking shudder.

I smoke less than 0.3 times month. But when I do buy bud, I like to buy it in bulk. I'm trying to keep my lungs in shape for football season. But lol, I just bought a vaporizer :D (that I have gotten a chance to use yet :mad: ). Its just will power.

I'm a moderate user, i usually smoke on fridays when i meet up with my friends, so maybe once a week. When i'm off school though i smoke a lot more coz i see my friends more. I like tokin moderately though because i don't have a high tolerance to it and everytime i blaaze i get nicely toasted. :D

I guess I could call myself a moderate user, I used to smoke everyday but can't afford it anymore. Now I smoke enough to get high once a week or so and on other days go without or only have a few hits or so.

As for other drugs after extensive research I now see no line to be drawn or no such thing as 'hard' or 'soft' drugs nor natural or synthetic drugs. If you're going to apply this system of drug 'judgement' to illegal or recreational street drugs then you should also apply it to over the counter medications or products which contain legal or qausi-legal drugs. For instance nicotine is a natural substance, it is also one of the deadliest poisons known to man right up there with strychnine. Cocaine is a naturally occuring substance (found in low concentrations in nature) and is cardiotoxic. LSD on the other hand is semisynthetic and does no physical damage to the body.
This may be off topic but it interests me how society can draw a line between 'hard' and 'soft' drugs and how marijuana users especially can admit the government has lied to them about cannabis and yet still believe what they are told about other drugs.

Well my idea of hard drugs are the ones that have more negatives than positives.

Stuff like DXM, coke, opiates, and pills will likely ruin your life if one uses them on a regular basis.

Most people can grow out of these habits but there is a high risk of trouble imo.

I haven't heard of anyone rob a store for a hit of weed yet.
LSD, and shrooms also seem to be safe for recreational use as far as I can tell unless one has a tendency towards schizophrenia.

I'm a moderate smoker, or at least moderately moderate. I can smoke for about a month, and then must abstain for 2 months, due to an employer who, in another life, must have been a Catholic nun. A mean spirited one.

I've been smoking daily for about 6 months. I just stopped doing that 2 days ago, so far its hard as hell. But weed is meant for recreational and moderate use. I no longer want to be a slave to a drug. Even one such as weed. As for hard stuff. Nothing, ever. Alchohol to me is 'hard stuff' because it seems to ruin as many lives as heroin or cocaine. I've drank on the occasion and personnally don't enjoy it. LSD I hope to do within the next week for the first time. As far as that I just smoke herb.
