If I have 15 gallons of distilled water, how much H202 is needed with what strengths? Which is best?
I am inquiring because I think I have root rot because of abit of green slime at the bottom of my tank and I change it every week so it's not a long term buildup of anything.
I also ordered Cannazym, but until that gets here; I have to use other means for now.

I just fought a battle with a bro's bad root rot. The plants looked good and started roots. Well the new style he was trying did not work, I cut back the roots on 3 that had them hanging down good out of 16. 4 plants were lost and the others had slimey roots. Normally 1 to 2 tables spoons per gallon of the 3 percent h202. It was not enough so I changed rez and went back to the drip system that has worked for me. I added about a half cup per gallon of h202 and cut the nutes way back to like seedling stage. We thought they were gone but after about 7 days we have white roots coming out of the 12 that lived and set us back a month. Better to be set back than watch them all die of the slime.
I would be aggressive if I see any slime at all. Remember that when you get the Cannazym you can not use both at the same time they will cancel each other out. Good luck and let us know how it's going.

Half a cup per gallon, I assume that would be 3 percent. How much of 35 percent h202 is needed for 15 gallons?

Well lets do the math. 35 percent is over ten times stronger than 3 percent. So I would go with 1 tenth of a half cup per gallon. I would go with 1 tablespoon per gallon. Your lucky to have the food grade h202. I can't find it here. If your roots are not slimey with snot maybe less. 15 tablespoons per 15 gallons of 35 percent h202.

We all are here to learn. Please let us know what happens so we can keep learning. I'm no where near the smartest one here. LOL but I try my best from expierence to help. If this old man kicks the bucket with a big fatty in my hand , well that's the way it should be. You maybe the next to help others , it's a good feeling when it turns out good and you don't get to see or smoke it yourself. Just knowing you did is enough. Peace and keep us up on things.
I'm rambling on because of 2 days of bad family problems. A little punk nephew is tearing my whole family apart. The only thing that keeps my mind off it is sharing a few things here. There I go again !!!!! LOL Keep it real.

We must have stronger stuff up here or I just don't know.
half cup (125 ml) 35% for 10 gallons
+
1/4 cup ( 62.5ml) 35% for 5 gallons
Is that right according to your formula?
This 35% h202 I picked up today says to mix .5 ml per liter which in the end work outs to 28.5 ml instead of 187.5 ml using the other method.
OR is it just Canadian, American differences in measurements.
OR..just MADNESS!?lol

Yea man what you got is food grade 35 percent. they use it to clean resturant kitchens. I just can't get that unless I order off the net. 3 percent is from the pharmacy for using on cuts and scapes of the skin. Wish I had a place to get 35. Any way it sounds right but if you don't have slime on your roots I would go just a little bit light on the mix. If your roots have slime be aggressive it will not hurt them unless you put the whole bottle in there. I dosed them down heavy for my bro cause we had nothing to lose and now just about all 12 plants have nice white roots starting to hang down going for the water.

I have slime in my tank, more-so on my aerators so I assume there's some root rot going on up there, but I never actually checked; didn't want to disturb the roots.
Now I'm waiting anyday now for the Cannazym, as well as a Triden Headlamp with Green LED spectrum so I wont disturb the dark-cycle while going in there for any reason.
One other thing though, it says to re-add at tank change. I read up that it should be re-applied daily to every other day. Which one is recommended?
Thanks

You can add 15 mL per Gallon of 35%. You can re add every few days or a third a day I believe. Not suggested to use any other grade because its not food grade and actually contains other additives.
USE GLOVES.
BTW, you can use it with the zymes, they are compatible.

he meant other actual zymes (gro, hygro etc.)
but yes, cannot be used with Cannazym. They either cancel themselves our or worse :what:

Thanks guy's it look like we are getting things under control and getting a better understanding. I will now go find the 35 percent just in case. We only used the 3 percnt because my buddy was desperate and we had to try or lose everything anyway.
Isn't this just the best place to get help or be helped ?

Why..... YES IT IS! Hope you got some time buddy, I got a follow up question :)
According to the DNF 35% H202, I added .5 ml per liter on Tuesday.
(I had 56 liters water, and added 28ml h202)
How long does H202 stay in effect? I want to add Cannazym tomorrow (Sat) but I'm not sure if the H202 is still present and effective enough to not be able to add the additive in the tank yet.
I can wait till I change the tank in a couple days but if I can add it on Saturday and get a head start, I would like that as well.

I would wait a few days and not take the chance of canceling out each other. The cannazyme will have full benifits with a fresh change. I was told the H202 will last 3 to 5 days then reapply and it's working . We got white roots starting to come out good.

You can use DNF's ratio, but it is WAY light. Trust me you can use 15mL per gallon of 35%. But whether you use 15mL or 2 mL, wear gloves. 35% is super dangerous (skin burn hazard).
