my flat mate just got a v-tower extreme, i think its awesome. it gets up to temp in less than 30 seconds, so i have no idea why it comes with 2 and 4 hour timer functions. it has a cool blue light underneath it that you can toggle on and off. the lcd display is arguably the nicest on the market for a vape, the volcano uses a lcd display like a digital watch, the v-tower extreme uses an actual tiny computer screen that can display different menus. when you have the fan on it has a little picture of a fan spinning on the display to let you know its on, an example of a benefit of the full lcd screen.

we have only used it for filling one of the provided bags, which are nice and big. the vapor itself was tasty, we were using sour diesel bud. we used it at 215 and 220 Celsius. the vapor was not thick, but when i exhaled in sunlight the vapor was clearly visible, i think i got the temp just right.

i just wanted to know what people thought about this vaporizer, i personally think its better than the volcano because of the price tag and the lcd screen display and the fact that you can use it without bags also if you want.

The Extreme is definitely a much better buy than the Volcano. Much cheaper and the most versatile vape around. IMO the Volcano's biggest edge over the Extreme is reliability. Quite a few owners have had one thing or another go wrong on the Extreme, from the digital controller to flaky power adapters. You do have a two year warranty, but with the digital aspect making the Exteme more likely to have problems, the 'cano Classic gets the nod for long term reliability. Haven't heard of any problems with the Digit, but S & B did drop the warranty down to 2 years on that one. Digital is surely more prone to problems than analog.

I just purchased one less than a week ago and I couldn't be happier. Being a poor college student it was better on my wallet than a Volcano...

So in the time it takes the Extreme to just warm up...I've been high off my cano vapor for about 15 minutes.

I would def go Extreme over the original though. You can't beat features/price too if that's what you're into. This or Silver Surfer might be my 2nd fav overall vape. I haven't tried Extreme first hand but I have tried SS.Just my 2 cents and opinion, research before you buy anything:thumbsup::hippy:
