yes, you should be able to find them at all the places listed above. The splitter looks like a Y, so you can use 2 bulbs in one socket. good luck to you and i hope i was able to answer your question!

To answer your question, TWO CFL bulbs will NOT be sufficient lighting for you plant(s). Mybe a minimum of 4 to 6 23w CFL's, (daylight for veg warm for flower) Even more. You should be able to pick up a pack of four 23w CFL's at Wal-mart for $6 or so. sometimes even the dollar store by me has 23w bulbs. I hope this helps you! and good luck!

the socket splitters that i think you are referring to are in the electrical parts section of home depot, with all the light switches etc. The cheap white plastic ones are 1-2$ apiece (I believe, it's been awhile). Remeber that those cfl bulbs aren't exactly cool. I had 12 27 watt cfls in a 2.5x3.5x6.5 cab with a cheap inline duct 4inch fan with a homemade carbon scrubber way back for my first grow and couldn't keep temps below 90. just run the setup without plants for a day with a min/max thermometer in it and see your max temps. Then you can increase airflow if necessary.

increase your airflow. you'll want to make your intake at the bottom and your exhaust at the top. You can most likely find a good inline fan at the hardware store for your exhaust. i use 120mm and 80mm pc fans for all my ventillation, and my temps are fine. i'm using CFL's as well.

i got good fans im just worried about my temperature going down when my lights are off any advice on that cause ppl tell me to keep my fans on both lights off and lights on but when the light go out my temperature goes down how do i keep it up?

how low do the temps get? I believe they can stay comfortable until it gets down to the mid 50's without stressing. any lower than 55-60 will not be good.

why would you want to keep the temps up? how cold is it in your box? lights off of course.

Below 50 is not good. Buy a fan heater, it will solve your temp problemes but t will decrease your humidity dramaticaly.
