so i have my doctor recommended 9 plants and everything is looking wonderful 6 great white sharks 3 og kusk females 4 weeks today into flowering and i am noticing the signs of root bound. i plan to flower for another 4 to 5 weeks depending, should i repot? they are definitely past the 1 gallon of soil to 1 foot of plant growth, (more like 5 to 5) such a bomber grow that i didnt expect this much growth in flowering probably due to the increase in co2 i have been doing.

if re potting is suggested could i just stack the pots? it would put less stress on them but would it take care of the problem correctly? thanks yallllllllll

you can transplant in flower, just be careful. do it right before you lights are to go off because transplanting stresses the plant. once you actually transplant it, give here some water and maybe back the lights off just a bit. they should be fine.

thanks bud. but i know i can repot but should i is the question. this is my 6th round in this room and not my only room so i know the basics i just need to know if this problem in the next four to five weeks is going to get worse and stop growth or can i squeak by without transplanting.

then you should know if you leave your plants in those containers they can and will die. what do you mean by stacking the pots?

obviously i know this, thats why i am wondering how long i have after the first few leafs start to turn until i see a lack in growth. stacking pots is when u cut the bottom out of ur current pot and place on top of new one with maybe 3/4 full of your soil mix. thanks anyways.

from everything i have read you should transplant immedietley once you start to notice rootbound symptoms. if they go into shock it will slow them down, but they should be fine. i hope you get a better answer!

since you said you know you could...

just ask yourself if you're willing to have a stunted girl (worst case) in the end. if you fail, you knew what to expect. if you succeed, hooray.

hope it all goes well.

you can transplant anytime you want, if done correctly, it will slow down the plant's growth for a few day, then start right back up, as the roots grow out (back off on your lighting for the first couple days, it helps the rooting) ... and, don't fertilize around the transplant period ... personally, I would transplant ... whatever you lose in the stall, will more than be made up for, in a larger, healthier plant ... it's your plant, do as you like ... :smokin:

That's what it's all about if you don't know who to trust. A side by side comparison. Then you will know for sure what works for you and what to do next time. Let us know what happens so others can learn.

I would go with the ones here but that's just me. They are giving sound advice.

Oh, by the way my cousin says it's a weed treat it like shit. He never could grow anything worth a crap. If you want crap treat it like crap.

yes. you should be perfectly fine. and please let us know what happens. the side-by-side comparison will be awesome!
