The State of Colorado restricts MMJ plants to ...."not more than six marijuana plants, with three or fewer being mature, flowering plants that are producing a usable form of marijuana."....

Given that restriction what would be the best technique/procedure/strain for maximum yield. I have a 15x10 room and a 9x2 closet. Power and ventilation no problem

I am a newbe so I applogise if this is a redundant question.

Sounds like you have a KILLER space to grow in! Divide the 15x10 room into a veg room and get a perpetual gig going, closet for cuttings. Harvest a couple trees every few months instead of 4 mos. Hell, with a perpet take your pick on a strain cause either way you should still have an ass pile every harvest with about any strain. Obviously some produce more than others but you can also get good results with a very powerful strain that might not produce like another but it may also take twice as long to smoke(depending on what you choose of course). Check out the Med strain sect for info on some and also search similar posts from stinkyattic, "knows her shit" is an understatement.

I wonder what defines a mature blah blah blah usable cannabis plant? Enough about the legal stuff, sounds really vague. Anyways, this is what I would do:

I like the idea of splitting the one room into two, making one of them slightly larger (flowering room). You could veg 3 plants for 8 weeks, doing some topping, or LST, or combination of both. Then flower them for 8 weeks, meanwhile starting again. If you can keep an even canopy, you could harvest a good amount. There is a guy on these boards who basically did this, and harvested I think at least 8 oz., maybe 12oz. every 2 months. Here it is (http://boards.cannabis.com/closet-cabinet-growing/52326-lovely-ladies.html)

Check that out... Your problem isn't the worst to have... Yeah with this method you might not fill the space totally with plants, but you could invest in more lighting and ventilation, maybe CO2(?),grow medium, etc. to get the bigger buds.

And be sure to look at growing 3 sativas outdoor in the summer if you're in area you can do it. With a good sativa and proper care you could get any where from 1 to 2 POUNDS per plant.

Thinking about going hydroponic:

for flowering: mylar lined six sided column - 3 - 3ft sides, 3 - 1.5 ft sides, 6.5ft tall, 1 - 1,000wt HPS w Sunsoaker Reflector (48x48 - 9 sided)

For veg : mylar lined 9ft x 6 ft closet 4- 2x48" T12's , vent wth 4" Whisper fan

1 Waterfarm plus 2 mudules for veg

1 Waterfarm plus 2 mudules for for flower

Not clear on how/if to vent/cool the 1000 hps (room size 10x15x8tall) or just vent the room.

ALL INPUT APPRECIATED. IHAVE NO EXPERIENCE AT THIS.

Try the math in that for the ventilation... it worked for me.

3 or fewer plants could be mature, I'd call a 30ft. mature...

It is something that worries me. What is a mature plant???

I sometimes take clones when the plant is flowering. This will give me plants with pistils that are a few inches high! Are they mature?

I can grow that 30 footer under 24/7 and it won't have a pistil in sight. Is it mature?

Shall we define it as a plant under 12 inches in height? I LST the heck out of my plants to be low and wide- often they are less than 12 in height. Yet, I end up harvesting an ounce or two from them. So height is not an answer, either.

In the end, we are trusting some flat-footed cop, not a botanist, to judge whether a plant is "mature" or not!

This mature plant thing is a silly rule! Just let us grow for heaven's sakes! Set a limit of 20 plants, or even 10, per adult. Even the dumbest cop can count to 20 (I hope).

Pot should be around $10 an ounce! Prohibition just makes some people very rich by artificially maintaining a high price. No other easy to grow plant has such a high price! Even ginseng, that takes years to grow and harvests a few ounces, sells for $30 a pound (powdered).

And speaking of prices... did anyone else find it odd that when bush (friend of oilmen everywhere) left office, gas priced dropped greatly?

well around here you get a bong load of that cardboard kush for the ten, HA! I wish prices were fair really though even a good connect around here wont give you the weight you pay for; best you can do is "a point" off, its been like this for since before Christmas...

from what i understand as long as the plant are not into flowering then there still considerd immature,if the #of plants restricts you then pay for your spouse or a friend to get theres and you hang on to there card and recomendation and there you go your limit just went from 6 to 12 because yor a care provider for that patient.

I'd say you could do it in 2's n 4's . . with this said

?? seed/clone??

start with 4 flower midsize bout the stage of veg when you cant stop the obtained surge of knowledge to induce flowering :hippy: . then you would focus on the two that you would be veg maybe clones taken two weeks prior, from the 4 in flower..or maybe two seed which will get much bigger than the clone opponent .. anyhow what would be is you having 2lbs from 4 that you could smoke while you watch 2 more lbs grow from the two .. ithink:wtf:

lolololol

the bigger the roots the bigger the hooch

DEF go for the dwc if its hydro you want

but use a BIG trash can, big air pump, cool tube that 1000w scrog, lst some, top some pinch tips but let her heal and she will dance with you...

check plz:stoned:
