"Her last few days." - A Grow Log

This log is mostly for detroitfish, who asked to see pics of my lady.

Here she is. 59 days along today. Thinking about chopping her this weekend mostly because I got others right behind her and need the room. She's about 20% amber.

BTW, she is an old mom I had, lst'd the shit out of her. Got about 22 smaller colas like the ones you see in the pics.

So I harvested the ol' lady last weekend at 62/63 days. Trich's over 25% amber. I let her dry for about four days, thank you low humidity, and just put her into cure jars today. Got just over an ounce and a half off of her, better than what I expected.

Next lady is scheduled for harvest in about 4 weeks. Then I will start getting ready for the summer grow and start cloning more.

Yeah she wasn't too tall, and only CFL's, I wish I had a HPS light. This pheno is a little less yielding than the one that will be done here in 4 weeks. So, maybe we will see a little more production out of her.

She was only about a foot tall, my old mom which was raped for clones then lst'd. Had about 22 small colas. It's bomb smoking though.

This isn't actually a grow log GG, although it looks and sounds like one. More like a harvest log. Got buds in mason jars i picked up for like 50 cents each, sweet deal I know.
Lookin at just over an Oz and 1/2, which is my biggest harvest off one plant so far. Keep in mind I'm only working with like 3 ft of height. I'll post some pics later on.

Made some butter yesterday and baked up some cookies. One cookie messed me up, two cookies retired me for the evening. I must say I am very impressed, for mostly trim, about a 1/2 oz of it.

Ok, so i didn't want to start a new log so here we go.

This is my other mom that went into flower. She is at 44 days today, her sister, from above, went for 9 weeks, so she will prob go about the same maybe a smidge longer.

You can see how the 2 pheno's differ within them. I dubbed these 2 ladies "T.C. Alpha" and "T.C. Zappa", for the fact that the beans are from Trinity County in Cali. and Alpha/Zappa to distinguish pheno's.

So far, the Alpha pheno shows desirable traits, bigger, denser buds more that her sister zappa, more stretch during flowering, not too much tho, more crystals, different smell when cured, different tastes when cured.

I expect my yield from the Alpha will be larger than Zappa, with Zappa bringing in about 1 1/2 oz, I'm guessing she will bring over 2.

When cured they do smell like straight cat piss. A real strong, almost ammonia like stink, tastes just like it smells. But damn fine.

Ok, we got an update.

We are now at day 52 on my lovely T.C. Alpha lady and she is getting quit a bit of purple tint at the very top of her buds. I'm gonna let her go for 63 days/9 weeks since that is about the time her sis finished. She may go a tad longer though. Her sister is cured to perfection and tasting very lovely.

Other pics include the fam. The little clone experiment you can see in one. That clone in about 6 inches tall, an alpha pheno btw.

The two other ladies you see are some randoms I'm testing for the summer grow. As I am going for 3 different strains this summer. Notice the pinkish pistils on the one in the 1st pic. The other one proves to have better genetics, flowering faster and has bigger buds. Just transplanted these 2 yesterday, they needed it.

Very nice dude. May I ask your reason for not running an HPS yet? Those girls look great but I imagine the deeper penetration and more intense light from the HID would definitely improve your yield.

Update time.

Everything is going to good with all the girls. Alpha mom is almost ready to finish up. The two new randoms are looking pretty good. The one has red pistils.

Ok, 1st 2 pics are the BC setup. One problem is that on the clones I have noticed some residue on a a few, 4 outta 7 to be exact. The clones that do not have any residue are the one's that I put root powder on. The others had nothing except soaked in fertilome just like the other 3. What could it be?

The rest of the pics are the 1 random w/ pink/red pistils and some alpha shots. Enjoy! ;)

Anyone have comments on the clones? Doesn't seem to be progressing since I removed the dome.
