I have never worked with PPP but those buds look decent for 4 weeks. Can I ask why you chose NFT?

didnt know anything about hydro (or growing for that matter)when i started.nft was recommended to me by a buddy.after one grow in soil just to see the plants life cycle and to save some cash, i switched to my currant set up.in hind sight i wish i had went for a recirc df in pots just so all my plants arn't rooted together. its a pain sometimes not being able to move plants about.
well ive droned on long enough about that thanks for the reply :stoned:

Johny if you want to switch to something that's cheap to build and makes it easy for plants to move around I would suggest 5 Gallon dwc.

Awsome dude, they look great and your setup is working for you. Remember now if you change you will have to tweak it all to work again but that's no big deal. Looks like enough to get by on till next grow. LOL

do you think i would get away with sitting pots of clay balls or ???? on top of tray and drip feeding recirc from existing tank. hmmm got myself thinking now.

I think that would totally work. That's the best thing about hydro is that the possibilities are endless.

Nice girls bro!! Just my 2 cent story.... I used a quantum system with rockwool slabs for years with good sucess and 2 grows ago I thought I would shake it up a bit and use hydroton in sm net pots, set them in the trays and fill the trays with it as well in place of the slabs. Nutes I was using worked well in the wool and like ass in the clay so endless big troubles ensued. I went from.."go with what you know"... to.."maybe I'll just change a few details" and ended up at.."Go with what the pro's knows". BUCKETS! Best decision i've made in growing to date. Works very well and really is pretty easy. For my style, space, budget, etc I found it so far to be the most versatile, efficient, effective and simplistic system. Not to mention having no shortage of information on it, from parts lists to exact formulas and schedules. From the looks of your honeys, I think you have a better than good grip on this grow gig so go with what feels right and switch style when that feels right. much luck:thumbsup:

hey cannakeeper thanks for the comments.im very pleased so far, only 3 weeks +/- till harvest.pulled 10 oz dry on the last run and this one looks even better.i think i will hold off on a change until i am truly comfortable whith what iv'e got going now given that this is still only my 5th crop in hydro (1 in soil) i'm well happy.:rasta:
good fortunes to you all.......
