Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me. Please excuse my ignorance as I am a noob grower :). I have included some pics to help with the exlaination.
H=Answer if you grow hydro or aero
C=Answer if you grow coco
S=Answer if you grow traditional soil
L=Answer if you grow soilless other than coco (Promix, Hyponex, SunshineMix)
R=Answer if you grow in RockWool
T=Answer if you grow in HydroTon
D=Answer if you run any type of automatic drip system, including into soil or soilless
E= EVERYONE needs to answer lol!
E-indoor or outdoor = Indoor
E-soil, soilless, coco, aero, or hydroponic = soil
E-specific medium = 1" rockwool cube.
CSL-Soil type/brand = Seed and cutting soil, cannot remember brand but promised it is good at garden centre.
HCL-Hydro/aero/soilless system type
SCL-Anything you have added to the soil = Approx 25% perlite.
SCLR-Soil or slab runoff pH = 6.9
E-Water source = Tap water
E-Source water pH = 7.5
HRT-Source water EC (if hydro)
E-Age of plant = Cuttings taken about 5 weeks ago.
E-Type of fertilizer = Formulex
E-Rate of application (if hydro, this is your PPM number, preferably after each component is added) = Approx 0.2% every other watering
E-Lighting source and distance from plant = 125w CFL Envirolight (veg spectrum) about 7-8 inches above.
E-Air temperature (both day and night if you are running a dark period) = Light approx 75, dark approx 65.
HD-Reservoir temperature
E-Air % Relative humidity = Varies between 40% - 55%
E-Lighting schedule = 18/6
E-Type of ventilation your room has = Open door on cupboard, small fan to move air.
TR-Did you pre-soak your media in pH corrected solution? = Yes.
First thing to say is that these cutting were taken from the lower part of a flowering Blueberry plant, so I hope I can make them work as their mummy is absolutely :stoned::stoned::stoned::stoned::stoned:!!!!! :D
They were dipped in Clonex and put in presoaked rockwool cubes. For the first three weeks they were sitting an inch or two below an LED growboard. Once the roots started showing through the rockwool they were transplanted into the above mentioned soil/perlite mix, and put under the CFL. Their roots are just now showing through the holes at the bottom of the small pots (1 litre?) they are in so will transfer them tomorrow.
As you can see from the pics, they are quite dense as far as leaf mass goes. The leaves are very thick and very dark green (they have been like this since a week or so after being put in the rockwool).
P.S. Ignore the plant in the background, it's a pepper plant that has just been moved from a windowsill in winter.
I'm hoping as root growth is happening, they will be ok..........
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance, peace. :hippy:
