Wel i have another 4 1/2 foot of height left in my grow room,so i thought i'd give them another week or so,but if u think there ready then when i get blooming nutes,i guess i'll turn back the time lol.Is it a good idea to let them stay in 24 hrs of darkness for 72 hrs or should i just turn back the time & let them go?

I think it depends on the type and the amount of light you can provide as to if you can veg any larger before you flower...DO NOT give your plants 36,24,or even 18 hours of darkness before you flower!!!Why take a chance of stressing something that you grew for all these weeks causing it to HERM...You can give the plant 24 hours of darkness right before you harvest...

Excuse me for not commenting on your plants...Guess I shouldn't give grow advice at 4:00 in the morning...You did a very nice job veggin'...

I cannot "stress" enough (pun intended, lol) that you should not give them any more darkness than 12 hours when you flip em...If you have to, give em extra light(this won't stress em) to get your hours or timer right, but never extra darkness...GOOD LUCK MIDNIGHTER!!!:)

Wel as me personally i didn't do it on my 1st grow i just flipped light to 12-12 & let them flower, but i read some threads where some people let them stay in darkness for 48 hrs to 72 hrs i never knew why lol.I just got bad news on my shippment from foxfarm tho,my nutes was suppose to be here today but i got e-mail saying that because of xmas deliveries
Your package is in the UPS system and has a rescheduled delivery date of 12/29/2008 so even tho i paid to have it shipped today i got to wait untill the 29th to get it ,so i guess i need to let them grow untill then before flowering!Or could i use something else & go ahead with the flowering?Thx for all you replys & info.
