Hey all..

here is my problem i would like some more info on ...
during the growing i was thinking that my plants were not really smelling as much as I would of thought, I put it down to my filter in the tent doing a good job

When i smelt the buds themselves they did smell strong & good, but not of the generic green smell that i have come a custom too when buying in some, it was slightly different

They have now been harvested and are drying out, we do have a bit that we harvested about 10 days ago and it has now dried and hardly smells, defiantly no resemblance to what i call normal bud smell,

Now i have done alot of reading and know that curing does increase the smell etc.. but surley it should smell a bit bud like before that?

We are uncertain on the strain (seeds came from a random plant in spain)
but back then we could tell there was plants around without even seeing them!, and a harvest out there really did smell nice! (these were grown outdoors - ours were indoors)

anyone had any experience with smell-less weed?

what sort of addatives in the soil change the smell etc..

we were using miracle grow soil (wont be next time) and only a small amount of nutes

Thanks in advance

i have had some pretty smelless buds, all through flowering i couldn't really smell anything unless i was about 4 feet away and when i first chopped the plant it stank the whole house up but after a few days of drying and curing i could barely smell it at all anymore. I dont know why this happened but it could have something to do with the strain i think. By the way i was growing caramelicious strain.

I wouldn't worry as long as the buzz is sufficient......some types seem to have hardly any smell (or even trichomes) when you look at them but the buzz is terrific.

I agree. My last white widow grow had almost no smell. Crippling high.
