For minimum price and effort, a 48" flourescent fixture with "cool white" color tubes. Every KMart, Home Depot has them. They do a remarkably good job, and when they're on sale the price is around $12.00 - $15.00 for a 2 tube fixture, often with the tubes thrown in.

hey indoor grower guy, i actually downloaded a high times growing dvd, it tell you all the shit to do for beginners with pictures, if anyone wants me to send it to them im hurley999er on AIM

hi average im a novice grower too i bought a security light from a local diy store 40 watt hps bulb cost me £30 and it did the job. all i can say is dont get to caught up in all the technical stuff if you just want a bit of weed to smoke for yourself , of course the better the equipment the better the yield but i got about 1 oz of very very nice weed from my plant and it did me :-). hope it helps.
