Hi!!hello everybody!!
I like smoke cigarretes and joint....it,s true:stoned:
But I,ve got 2 pneumothorax in my right lung and got surgery.(VATS)
I,ve quitted smoking joints and cigs:mad: I had bad luck I suppose with this shit.
Anyway out of smokes I,ve thought maybe to get a good vaporizer and not use too much.
If there is someone who is using a vaporizer after a pneumothorax it would be great listen their opinion.
Please tell me your opinion whoever wants about this awful issue.
Good luck ;)

Well, I can't speak from experience concerning your condition, but vapor is much kinder to the lungs. I couldn't take smoke anymore, but have been vaping away for years now.

For you, I'd recommend the Purple-Days vape (purple-days.com). It's great for medical users. Extremely efficient due to the very small bowl and that also allows you to take measured hits. The vape is almost indestructable and without even a temp control (not needed, believe me), there's nothing to fail. Best buy on the market IMO at $150.

I've also had a pneumothorax - only one, spontaneous, and in the right lung. I was treated with a chest tube and oxygen and it reinflated the next day. I haven't yet found a convincing answer as to whether or not its safe to vaporize after a collapsed lung. In the meantime I've been making the Green Dragon drink (see the thread in the Concentrates forum). That's worked pretty well, but I'd still like to vaporize since the Green Dragon takes about 2 hours to kick in and sometime lasts too long. I plan on making an appointment for a medical marijuana evaluation and I'll ask the doctor then.
