When should I switch my lights?

This is my 3rd grow(2nd Indoor) and I was wondering when I could put the babies under my 400w MH? Since they have sprouted they have been under a Dual 4ft flouro shop light and are doing well.Hope to hear back soon:jointsmile:

My WW seedlings were 2 1/2 weeks old when they went under my 400w HPS (dont have an MH yet) and they are doing fine. I do grow hydro though and at the time they went under the main light they had roots sticking out of their 4in RW cubes. Hope that helps a lil

Go ahead and move them to the 400 watter set the hood at 2 1/2 feet from the floor this will promote growth and keep your stages close together.

Make sure you have a fan blowing for leaf movement:thumbsup:

If you havent added some Veg fertilizer now would be a good time

i had no problems when i started seeds from a 400mh. go ahead and do it. i would put the light about 2 feet and every day lower a little it or else your going to get stretching going on. 400 is fine you just got to temper those little baby leaves to that new strong light.
