GH lucas formula

hello everyone,

the lucas formula for GH flora series; what's the deal? they take out the 'Grow' because the 'Bloom' has enough N? can someone elaborate? is this formula ideal for sog grows, because it cuts down on nitrogen and therefore encourages less vigorous branch and leaf growth? are there other benefits? i'd like to know because i am a recent convert to mr. lucas and i have space limitations. latewood's guide sounds great, but will it work for smaller plants? anyone kind enough to share their experiences with the lucas formula? thank you.

Its works great. Just remember to add epson salts for the M
Id defintaly recomend also using pro-tect

i appreciate your input blaze, but i still don't understand why it's better. for example, does it provide the same results? better results? is there anything to gain besides not having to spend the money on 'Grow'?

i'm using tap water, at about 200 ppm. doesn't that have magnesium in it? do i still need to use epson salts? i've heard it can be harmful.
