Question: Smoking on Apartment balcony?

I've been smoking gangja on my apartment balcony, Via joint/blunt. I'm on the 2nd floor of a three level apartment. The apartment faces away from the parking lot and towards a highly driven street.

Lately I've been kinda paranoid that my neighbours might come outside and smell the burning of an illegal plant.

Is this risky? If so what should I do? I really dont want to smoking inside my apartment and I dont want to bring heat on my girlfriend.

Get a vape. Or invest in some of those hardcore airfresheners. That's just me, though. I always tended to be paranoid about smoking out on my apt's balcony.

It's kinda sad. I'm not hurting anyone, Im not getting behind the wheel or showing off...

I just sit in my smoking chair and watch the cars drive by with some light music coming from my radio. That is it..nothing scary or threatening..

I'm just gonna release the chains of this world and not worry about a thing tomorrow when a smoke... No one has said anything yet.. I will finish the other half of my blunt.

Not with a burning blunt, I just hope I dont live by any narc's. Whats the worst that could happen. Cops are called? .. I flush the blunt and dont answer the door.

though i wouldnt worry about that. first off the only people who would smell the blunt would be the people above you, and they cant pin it directly on you, just someone below them. chances are when they smell it they wont think anything of it. and here is the key, when someone smells the faint hint of weed smoke the first thing they think is not weed, its "something is burning", usually people have to be prompted to think of weed smoke, in which case they are a cop, or a fellow toker, or a former toker. but any of those scenarios are cool, so long as your not smoking on top of a police cruiser.

I'll fix your problems. First and foremost use a doob tube. Secondly I would reccomend getting a pipe or a bong because you can get ALL the smoke from a doob tube. As a blunt or joint let's smoke of the tip.

where im from, its called a sploof. and it works a lot better if you stuff the roll with sheets and tie one on the end. just thought id put that out there and start making an official name for it

Power to the spoof! Ive heard at least 10 different names for it :P I used a paint roller for mine.. its nice and fuzzy :D

Actually that's not entirely true. Heat is what rises, not the actual odor. The odor itself can waft in any direction.

That said, I myself smoke pretty regularly in my g/f's apt with no real concern. We're on the top level though so it's not as bad, but still, you should always be somewhat careful when smoking.

If anything, don't smoke blunts. Stick to a pipe or one-hitter for a lot less excess smoke.

And if you're that worried about it, don't smoke there if you don't have to. That is up to you.

yeah i use the empty toilet paper roll stuffed with drier sheets thing too, when need be. i stuff like 4 or 5 in there and it works great.

I live down one of them streets where everybody is nosey. But I smoke out on my balcony.

I'm pretty sure some neighbours have noticed, but like most people, they don't say anything because it's not affecting them. I'm just quitely smoking a joint.

I was in this exact same situation, being on the 2nd floor of a 3-story balcony. My neighbor would always bitch about the smoke. he would mock cough when I would cough. Finally one day I was smoking on my balcony and he started repeating what I was saying to my wife in a stupid voice. He was annoying and mocked me repeatedly. Then I screamed, "Shut the fuck up neighbor! Mind your own business." He tried to knock on my door a few times and I just said "no way neighbor get the hell away from my door."

As long as you don't live in Malaysia where they kill you for smoking, you should be alright.

I got a complaint just from blowing some vapor out of my bedroom window (I live on the top floor), so now I just use a doob tube and my bathroom vent. But I live in a place where people actually care about marijuana, lol.

man i almost replied telling you to not worry about it...but then i remembered that i live in austin where people either smoke or, if they don't, have no problem with it. who are your neighbors? i bet older people and families would have a problem. but if you have some younger types around you it should be aight, and you might actually make some friends!
