Can a plant make to many trichromes early in the flower cycle? 2 full weeks in and its covered pretty heavy, its a cross I have had for several years just started to bring it out of retirement. Will post photo soon.

I'd say too many trichromes is a good thing in whatever situation. I grew some Widow one time and it started getting frosty right as its little hairs started popping out.

think of the trichomes as the 'containers' for THC, so heavy coverage is reason to celebrate ... it's not the sole indicator of potency, but it ain't bad :D :thumbsup:

wow.. did you really think itd be a problem or did you just want a reason to show off your trichomes! :rastasmoke: come on.. definitely not a prob. More trichomes means more THC on the plant(not higher THC percentage.. just more THC)

actually thats not really true, and you kinda stated why yourself lol.

a plant with fewer trichomes but a higher thc % could very well have more overall thc than a plant with more trichs but a low %

that being said... obviously more trichs is a good thing, as it is a general indication of more overall thc potential content :thumbsup:

ps. this thread is like 5 months old, i doubt the orignal poster is still following it :p
