this is my first grow so it's bare bones, a experiment to see if i can even do this from start to finish. if i can next time i'll invest in some better supplies. this is my veg room but eventually i'll convert it into my bloom room cause its hard to keep the humidity high enough for veg so i think it will make a better bloom room and i'll build a new veg room somewhere else. the 2 plants are sweet blue x SSH

I'd get the reflectant off the bottom...You'll be reflecting light to the delicate undersides of the leaves...I'd loose the clay pots as well...

And the only thing worse than clay pots is PAINTEd clay pots. Use plastic pots. They are cute pots though.....
Hope everything goes well...that's the only thing I noticed. Oh and do you have a spacer (brick) under the pots so they don't sit in the drain water?

yea the clay pots weren't my first choice but they outgrew the seedling tray i had them in and i had to act fast, i had some medium plastic pots but i left them outside and now their lost under the snow. i bought some bigger plastic pots and now I'm just waiting for the roots to develop a bit more before i transplant them in a few days. what's wrong with the reflector on the ground? i thought the more reflected light the better? i've seen pics of other grows with that, but maybe it was when they were budding them i cant remember.

couple things.
1. first and foremost you need to have some ventilation in there bro. i dont see any fans exhaust or intake. or even just stationary. you're really going to want to read heavily on ventilation, it is something you most definately don't want to overlook.
2. i know you said this is just a "test" run, but i'm sure you can afford a few extra bucks at wally world for another 4 pack of cfl's. and a couple more of those 2 socket adapters. you will thank me in the end when your bud are a little more dense than just the 2 cfl's. :)
on top of the other couple things mention above, i think you're on track man.
good luck with the grow.

get a 4" inline duct fan on the top with 8" passive intake in back bottom(hole) with pvc pipe in s shape to block out light, also paint insides of pvc black and wait to dry. ventalation means the world

there's is a fan in there, its a stationery fan hanging at the top of this pic and a exhaust fan higher up you cant see in the pic. i've already added 2 more cfl's a while ago, I'm using 4 42w cfl's in total which gives me a total of 11400 lumens is that enough for vegging?

You have 2 plants just like I do. But I got 20 000 lumens out of 10 cfls.. It's enough, since heat is almost an issue here. The more you can put without overheating, go for it!
Take a look at my grow log for infos!

That is a nice setup. I need another external closet deal thingy-majigger lol for vegging. Check out my log if you want to see some CFL results :)
