Was asking, because sometimes people who grow very few plants or a single plant, don't want to destroy the plant. My first grow I grew a single White Widow and it truned out to be a hermie, I saved it by cutting out the male flowers. It ended up producing 1.2 ounces of great bud and had 4 seeds from one flower I missed. But if you are growing a good deal of plants get rid of it. :)

hahaha a hermie. bad luck lol. by the way, i see your plant is just in front of yer sofa, do u use daylight or a real light? and if u use real light when its will be on dark time there will still have day or room light. thats why he turned hermie, hahahaha

just buy a cheap closet at walmart so you transform it into a grow room. just restart a new plant. oh, and the pollen will still stay after you killed your plant so your next ones have chances to be pollennized.

sorry to upset ya mate , but seeds from a hermie will contain all the genetic code it needs to reproduce hermie babys, it dont mean that every seed will be a hermie but ya chances will greatly increase, and to be honest we all grow weed cos we like to smoke the stuff and weed that has been fertilised aint nowhere nere as good as sensemilia, its up to you but i would just smoke it , it will have some strengh, but as for the seeds, i dont know anybody that wants hermie seeds, except maybe someone who is doing some experiments, but the average grower wants girls that are untouched by male pollon be luckey

this man is correct!
i collected about 20 seeds from different bags of CHRONIC bud and i still have a bunch
i grew a couple and never got any males
then i read more about hermies and i find that i have a shitload of female seeds!!!
Hermaprodites ARE NOT completely useless
people intentionally turn plants hermi to get feminized seeds.
even though the seed has a greater risk of becoming hermi, if it's grown outdoors, theres a way lower risk of stress!

You should just cut what buds are on the plant. Unless you want to keep it. :/ lol

Well... that plant is long dead... nice post bump from 2005... you do NOT want to save seeds from a plant that goes full blown herm under normal grow conditions!!!!!!! The offspring will start out female but guess what, you 'll get herms again under the same conditions.
Only save seeds from a plant that you FORCED to herm under stressful conditions that the offspring will not be exposed to.
Moving to advanced with all the OTHER threads about saving seeds from herms...
:wtf:

Poor forum manners, when there are much more recent posts on the same subject that are still being posted on by members who are still here on the boards.
Eh whatever, that's actually a really good pic of a herm for people to have a peek at anyway.
