would i be correct to assume that my plants got everything they need to be superb just by being in a nice spot growing outside?
by everything, i mean nutrients and light from nothing but the surrounding nature and soil. im talking about the ko'olau mountain range area.
for those who dont live here, you may be able to help as well. Hawaii has almost no pest problem (except ants) and grow season is all year round baby. (just depends how old ur plants are). sun light and temperature in the wilderness is always between 70 and 90 degrees. i plan to put my plants in a slightly shaded area. (cloaking purposes). wouldn't want the heli's to get my crop.

You may consider starting your plants in a hydroponic medium like coctek cubes or rockwool and actually plant the cubes for great airation. Not a must, but would definately help. How much does is rain in Hawaii? Thats sounds like the only major concern to me. I hear the soil is highly nutritious due to vocanic activity in certain parts.

aloha brudda, just saw this post today. don't fool yourself, we got spiter mites and slugs and white fly. so don.t let your guard down. I'm growing both inside and outside.living on the windward side, 96734. got 3 dwarf mix's and 1 mango outside, in black gold potting soil, perilite, blood meal, worm castings. for both the in and the out. inside I have 2 big buds under clfs, about 6 of them and starting 9 clones in water. if your gonna grow in the mountains you need some nukes for those babies. the sun alone won't do the whole job for some great shit. good luck.
