Hello all

Well I have about 5-7500 to put in my system... with Canadian dollar right now that should get me my poly :beatdeadhorse:
Anyways I want something easy as I will be going in for back surgery either late in the upcoming year or the start of 2010. I'll be honest I don't know if smoking weed is helping my situation but it does help the edge on my perks and 100% helps with my back spasams (spelling not so much). I am looking for expert advice as my power consumption is my main concern... So all you bastard B.C. hydro users (joking, jelous) slash 50 percent of the power you think is normal lol.

I want to run a sealed room with Co2, sulfer burner, dehumidifier, (trying desperatly to avoid A/C (power issues again). All this through vented shades and insulated ducting that recycle the air in my crawl space in basement.

Two questions... Is just venting the shades gonna be able to keep my heat down with out using a/c? Then as well how would you set up a place if you wanted to yield as much as you can with limited money and power usage (meaning veg room, no veg room? clones, clone existing plants... Just really want an optimal system that will be on timers. Also soil is my goal.

Anyone who can point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Answer to you first question is No venting your hoods will help alot with heat but you will still need a A/C remember a sealed room means No in or out vent.

Ok lets do a 6 grand budget this is hydro though it can be done just the same with soil just fill pot with soil instead of hydroton.
Space 14X14 - hope you have that much or you can just scale it
Strain: AK47 - why easy to grow, fast and a good yielder
-Humidity Control: 60pint dehumidifier
-Reservoir : 2 Grotek 260 liter Reservoir for two 4X8 table
-CO2: 6 burner propane Ble OX
-Scent remover: 4' charcoal filter with 10" vortex fan
-Lights: 4 1000 Watt Sylvania HPS with Super Sun II air cooled reflector
-Ballasts: 4 1000 watt HPS
-Clone and Veg: Ezclone 120 after clones root just feed them veg nutes in the cloner for 2 weeks then put them striaght to the table and flower
Grow System: two 4X8 flood and drain table 40 6" pot per light
Room Cooling: 10,000 BTU A/C.
Yield: 1.7 lbs per light total if dialed in you can hit 2lbs per light
Total: 3.5 Lbs every month if you run a perpetual harvest.

If you havn't already made the purchases...

For a newbie to purchase, assemble and use...all of this stuff is going to be a nightmare. Do you have growing experience?

If it's for you and your back as stated, most of the items listed is overkill. Hard to work around, and extremely difficult to dial-in and find a working result. Then there's replacement costs, power consumption, testing meters.... Sure you wouldn't want to learn to grow for yourself, before you go commercial? (which is what this set-up ammounts to)

So ta/99? What is your harvest goals on your room? And like Rusty said, have you done this before?
