How should I use my vape?

Ok so when you load the whip on a box style vaporizer should the herb stay by the screen in the whip or does it need to cover the screen on the heating part.

When I have it by the whip side it has to be put at a higher temp therefore I get less out of the weed. I used it and put the weed by the heating element screen, only taking a few hits when it was covering the heating element part and the hits were way more powerful but I dont think it was combusting.

i also have a cheap 150usd vape anyway there sould be a frosted area on the whip where the whip connects to the heating elemant I always fill up to the frosted area u don't want to fill to full yet at the same time u don't want too little herb because then it wounl't work properly hope this helps :smokin::stoned:
