A friend of mine has been growing about three years with mediocre success. He has recently decided to migrate from a True living Organics medium to entirely soilless.Still remaining hand watered. The question I cant answer for him is the ratio of ingredients for a successfull non-organic mix. Here are the possible parts He has:

Perlite
Hydroton
Styrofoam pebbles in between the size of sand and a BB
Coconut coir Bricks ( the dry brick kind)
Earthworm Castings

3 parts Pro-Mix with mycorise
1 part perlite
1 part eathworm castings
1 heaping TBS fine dolomite lime per gallon of the above
1 TBS FoxFarm PeaceOf Mind 5-5-5 per gallon of the above(optional but recommended)...:jointsmile:

To simplify it he could use just hydroton.:thumbsup:
