Hi
This is my first time growing and despite what i heard about them being really hard to grow i decided to grow blueberry since i heard that they give an incredible high. It's now been a bit over 4 weeks since i planted them in soil and I was hoping someone could tell me if they're looking ok, because I'm worried that they might be too short, and when should i start floweing them.
Thank You

looks very nice
you can start flowering whenever you want
they tend to grow 3 times in size after you switch to 12/12
check out my current log that is 12/12 from seed

Ok thanks, I just wasn't sure if i should wait until they started showing sex or if it was ok to start flowering before. Also do you have any tips for flowering blueberrys to help get more yield?

One more thing, i hear people talking about flushing all the time, is that necessary and if yes, how do i go about flushing the plants?

Hi All !!!
jrl589 from the pictures you posted, your plants are not mature yet.
You can force them to show sex, but from what I have been reading this may increase the chance of a hermie.
Just what I read.
Don't worry about a flush unless you need it and the photos show no sign of it I can see.
Good Luck

jrl589 I forgot to welcome you to the forum!!!! Welcome friend!!
First I am no expert, I just know what I read, and I have some on the job xp.
You can flower your plant now!!! It is big enough, personally I wait until the internodes stager.
Stinkyattic can give you much better advice than I, so wait a bit and she will show and give you expert advice.
There are others here that I consider experts on growing and they will help you also.
Once again WELCOME!!!

Secondly, thank you for the help, i will take your advice and if not wait until the internodes stager then at least wait til i hear from one of the experts :P. Once again thank you for all the help.
