the edges of my plant leaves are starting to turn brown. at first it was just one plant so I ignored it, but now all plants are starting to show some brown on the edges. my plants are kept in a small grow box. the grow box can get very humid at times, so twice a day I open the door to the grow box for a couple of minutes until the humidity goes down. Any idea what it could be?

What kind of hydro you running?

6.5 is too high for a hydro set up

you want 5.5-6.0

its an ebb & flo system. & 6.5 was the water before I adjusted it. Now its 5.7-5.9

oh ok hehe:stoned:

hmm I'm not too familiar with ebb n flows but I think the first step I would take is to stop nutrients and fill with regular water (they can survive well without nutrients for a while)

maybe we should wait for stinky or someone else of higher caliber

I'd lose the bottled water and it's higher sodium content (which plants aren't crazy about) and either go with your tapwater or RO and CAL MAG.

and you should get your humidity down to no more than 50%.

Hi All !!!!!!

Revanche21 I guess its all good but I think your ph is tooooo low!

You are probably right for ebb&flo I don't grow that way.

You got Nute Burn.

I have 1 gro in Aero and run about 6.8 to 7 and have no problems.
I have no meters, just a ph test kit.

Second gro this system here is pix.

Good Luck

I have to smile....its a nice plant. But personally I don't like to grow by just watching and waiting. Way too much room for potential problems.

To each his own.

I double and triplecheck everything I do, watch ph like a hawk, feed good quality nutes and.....like Revanche says......keep my ph from 5.6-6.0.

My plants look like this.

Have a good one.
