Root question

My seedlings sprouted up and are about an inch right now. I was trying to transplant one and about 1/4 of the main tap root broke off will this kill the plant or will it be able to continue growing?

I would give it a 50/50 chance on survival, so don't give up!!!

Treat it nicely and do not handle it till it has grown a bit.

just give alittle tlc and it should revive itself, they usually do. it will probibly stunt it, but after a week or 2 it should start to grow more vigorously again
