Any idea why my digi timer is never consistant?

My digital timer is sporadic and decides to turn on and off whenever it wants within +/- 15 min of it's assigned time.

any thoughts? Ideas? reasons?

I haven't had any major problems with this, just wondering...

What kind is it? I am just about to buy one. Some of the new home light duty lamp timers have a random on/off with in X amount of time, so it doesn't turn on the lights at the exact same time every day, trying to mimic someone at home turning on the lamp
I am just going to get an Intermatic and be safe

yea thats the only thing I can think of, if so, I guess thats cool? umm the brand is unknown to me I already harvested and everything is put away I'll check out when I bust it out again :)
