topping an LST'd plant

so i recently fucked my plant up pretty hard. u can read it in the plant problem section, and my lstd plant got its top ripped off a few nodes bellow. ive heard that the topping of a plant makes the lower branches feel that they are the top of the plant, so would this possibly be a healthy factor in strong growth for the other tops i have (which are very large as is)

As long as you are still in veg there shouldn't be a problem with topping the plant, LST'd or not. I know that Stinky suggests waiting 2 weeks after topping before throwing into flowering, so just keep that in mind.

well, it was but, now its outside (no choice) and its winter time rite now, so that bassically means its going into flowering now rite?

If it was under 24/0 light inside, then throwing it outside is definitely going to put it into flowering. It will still flower, just the yield will be hurt by not giving it time to really get those tops growing again.

Just a thought, i put quite a few seedlings outside last year straight from 24/0 to whatever the light cycle is at the end of April. Probably too early from what i've heard... but anyway, all the plants grew for a while then the Mango's started blooming mid summer and were ready by the August. However, my Thai Skunk plants (Thai Stick is what they were called) did not start blooming until the end of summer and were not ready in October when i harvested them to avoid frostbite.

I think a lot depends on the strain. If you have a long flowering strain, they might just be ok, but i wouldn't expect good things from a quick flowering strain like most indicas.
