Ok, so I'm making an attempt at my first grow in a few days, and my last decision is about soil.
I think I'm going with Fox Farm Light Warrior agro-ponic for the seedlings, and Fox Farm ocean forest after that. I also am going to buy the Botanicare three-pack of 2-0-3, 2-1-4, and 1-4-2.
Question (s): will this work? Can I put those nutes in that soil or do I need to get a different kind of soil?

good luck. I started doing a grow half hydro, half soil.
To be honest I thought the hydro was the experiment and the soil was to be the sure bet. Well....the soil has turned out to be the pain in the ass...mucho $$ to nutes, to pH up and down and all over and as I have clones in hydro and clones in soil...the hydro has been soooo much more sucessfull ( am I'm talking rubber maid container with some net pots and a $12 pump). Currently I have enough hydro ready to flower but as space is limited when I switch the lights there are 6 anemic looking light green/yellow plants six weeks into veg (soil) that just might get chucked as they are holding back the other girls.
