Hi,
When I put small rooted (4" rockwool) plants on a 4x 8 flood table they turn a dark green sickly color. The roots grow good but not the tops. They wilt and look unhappy. After 2 weeks they come around.

Using GH at 500ppm w/2x1000 mh.

ANy suggestions on the best way to transition from 400w to the table?

Thanks in advance.

Maybe too much light? How far away are the lights?

36" away.

Perhaps fertilizing too early?

36" is pretty good ... if you can raise them up a little more (as long as they're not stretching) and make sure you're only using 1/4 strength nutes ... after a week or so they'll like it a little more rough
