Okay, so I'm considering investing some money in a top-end vaporizer and become an exclusive vap-er. However, it would still be nice to have something that's easily transportable so that I might partake in places where a bulky, electric vaporizer would just be impractical. In my search for something approaching a small, probable vaporizer I happened onto this little item:
The Ubie Vaporizer -- The Free Your Lungs ! (http://americansmokeless.com/index2.htm)
Has anyone had any experience with the Ubie? If so, did you find it easy to use and effective?

2nd the Genie suggestion. It uses a ceramic filter to distribute the heat. The Ubie is really hard to use with consistent results-too cheap. And you don't need to go top end for home use. Some excellent vapes in the $150-300 price range.

The Ubie looks interesting though - I like the idea of applying heat externally rather than breathing in the exhaust from the lighter. Personally, I'd like to find something a little bigger though: a nice glass bulb type vaporizer (basically an oil-burner type of pipe) to combine with a small tabletop alcohol burner for a heat source. Presto: Steam-Punk Vaporizer :)
