Zeb's Indoor Action 08-09

Welcome my dear, weed lovin' friends, to this new log.

As you may already know, i made a new grow box for this season, a wooden box, inside painted white, lights are 6 x 23W cfls, 2700K.
The nutes I will be using are BioCanna Grow & Bloom, a local stuff whit potassium-humic and micro elements, Bat guano tea.

I currently have three little plants, 2 Biko Bx1 from AnnaC Medicinal Seeds and one Mazar...

The Mazar is a afghan landrace....

Biko Bx1 is .:

Biko Female was chosen and bred back to stored pollen from the ECSD V3.

Biko = Mind Boggle F2 (female) x ECSD V3(male)

Mind Boggle F2 is a Columbian bred to a G13 x Hash Plant and eventually bred again to BOG's Lifesaver in 2001 and created the F2s in 2006.

cool lil box, whats the dimensions?

but, it looks a lil small. i would try to get some kinda cheapo, u-assemble, small cabinet/pantry or wardrobe, and use that. even the lower half of a closet would be bigger. what will u do if the plants need more vertical space?

and i dont see it, how is that box/cabinet ventilated?

Very nice stealth box zeb but as rock mentioned,I only see one hole and a computer fan which I'm guessing is your outtake since it's on the top...Do you have an intake or are you growing with an open door???:stoned:

Hey Rock, yeah it's not really big, but it's almost double big as my previous cardboard grow box....
Dimensions are 12 D x14 W x19 H, inch....
I had this commode or nightstand or whatever, since last year, i try to use what i have....it think it will be just fine, i don't smoke that much, so i think i can cover my needs till next outdoor season whit this new box...
Also i will be doing lst so there is no need for much vertical space....
The venting is done by a proc. cooling fan on top, and two light proof passive intakes...the whole box has a good venting, it's not overheating at all, and it's almost lightproof....

Here are the plants at week 1....
Sadly one of the Biko Bx1 didn't make it, it had no growing tip....
In the first pic, the Mazar is right, Biko Bx1 is on the left side....
In the last two pix you can see that the Biko Bx1 already has some trics...and already has a nice smell - i has sour diesel in it's genes...

In the first pic, M-I-S on the left, Biko Bx1 on the right....
They where transplanted 6 days ago, got the first feeding 4 days ago, did LST 2 days ago....:stoned:
The Biko is really stinky, smells up the whole room already....so I must get a stronger exhaust fan and make a scrubber soon....
I was also thinking of replacing 2 of the 6 24watter cfls whit one 85watter...

other growers in the real world and they kinda took me under thier wing! lol,
they very generously gave me 4 Purple Kush cuttings, 4 High-End cuts, 9 CD
x LT cuts (that's Chocolate Diesel x Lemon Thai), a rooted Mendo Purps
mother almost ready to start taking cuts from and a rooted Apollo 11, Genius
pheno mother, also ready to start making my day, lol.

lol, not only that, i got a seed order delivered so i have 5 PPP seedlings and
5 White Rhino seedlings all of which went into the dirt yesterday, woot woot!

sounds like you have some nice genes to play with too, cool man!
btw Zeb, i was wondering if you use your little indoor op to create rooted
clones for transplant for your much more extensive outdoor crop?
if i remember rightly, you said you don't do the cloning thing?

MonkeyBone, yes i use flash...my "camera set-up" is a cheap Olympus FE-210...;)

Here are the latest pix....this strain is unbelievable....
She has a really strong smell, something like the taste of vitamin C, mixed whit a bit of catpiss and coffee....beautiful colors and lots of frost...
Took a tester bud today - can't wait to smoke it...

Zeb! I lost track of this thread toward the end of Winter. Cheers to those who pulled it back up, as I am interested in seeing some cured bud shots and reading a smoke report! Those buds looked mighty sweet in those last pictures, so I know they had to end up awesomely wicked! I hope all's well with you, my friend.
