Hello guys.
I kinda suspect that this post will be quite long (ended up making it in two parts) so lets start with saying that I am Swede and not english speaking normally and I am completelly blitzed out of my skull right now on top of that so don't jump me for the occasional torture of the english language.
Anyway, what I started this post for is to get to hear what you think AT AN EXACT MOMENT IN TIME think is the most marvelous thing in the world.
It can be everything from:
"This Mars bar!"
to
"Munch on an orange while I watch good old Tracy getting banged on an old video casette."
to
a story short or long about what you do or did and why it was the absolutelly best thing in the world to do.
And, please drop in now and then and write a new post. I mean every time something new is the most interesting or nice or fun to do. Even if you do the exact same thing two times the first time watching Chech and Chong while digging into a cheescake can be the best. Two days later it's Bladerunners and icecream, just let me know. :pimp:
So I am natrually gonna start with what actually IS the best in the world to do hehe:

Screw this!!!
I finally gave up at 5.30 am and stod up, dressed, let the cats in and put the bong on the table in my living room. The night had been a bad one with no sleep.
I went into my walk in closet and looked at the shelf seeing 12 small plastic boxes, the type used to freeze berries in or maybe bring a few sandwiches to work in. They were all marked with number 1-5 and I choosed number 3 for the occasion. I went with one of the number 3 boxes to my livingroom and opened it. I have my handheld microscope always handy and after picking the bud it was quickly checked as I always do. The number 1-5 on the boxes are plant numbers from my last seed grow of White Widow and I am still testing them all for difference in quality to better decide what plant's clones would be best to use for future grows.
Number 3 yeilded very well and had dense buds and decent trichonome count which on a white widow means a damn lot. It however was a fairly hard plant to keep happy while growing.
The trichs were about half clear, 20-30 cloudy and the rest ambre so I could expect a quite activating high according to experience and that was also what I wanted when I harvested.
The bud got grinded and the lovelly smell almost made me change my mind.
"I can't just combust all this lovelly weed that smells so damn nice." I thought.
I chuckled a bit and natrually filled the bong.
Now, one thing with bongs for me is the sound of them. I just love that sound and rarelly smoke in any other way at home. Not only because of that of course I also like the somewhat cooled smoke it produces. The taste is really nice but the sound is a major part.
A few minutes later the first bowl was done and I thought about it a bit and then decided to go quite hard this time. I don't smoke every day and usually not very hard but hey, sometimes I do.
So I started to work myself through the second one already quite buzzed and a few minutes later I was ripping a battery out of the remote for my Kiss network media player as a replacement for the spent one currently occupying the battery compartment of my MP3 player. I was now high, there is no way around it.
After that I put on a baseball cap and went out into the street light lit southern suburb of Stockholm in which I live to the sound of Janis Joplin.
I walked towards a large wooded area between my suburb and the next. The walking was done deliberatly slow on the dark, be it streetligh lit, strolling paths in the forest now and then stopping to investigate something that cought my eye. All the time I sang to whatever song played in my ears occasionally checking around so noone was around.
There was noone around. Sure I live in Stockholm but the recreational paths in the forrest is not that dense with traffic at 6am a tuesday morning. I did meet one guy though. You will get the story about him later but lets start with saying that
walking through that forest with Janis Joplin fading out and Prince starting Cream up is the absolutelly best any living being at any point in time can ever experience.
I will say something else another time but at this moment I am sure of it. No matter what sound in the music I listened to I could follow is clear as day by watching it's color. I don't hallucinate or anything like that I just call it the color as whatever sound you listen to after smoking a bit gets so clear and sticks out so much. As a side path concerning this I warmly recommend a song named Freestyler by Boomfunk for this. Just listen to the, yeah you will know when you hear it. There is an instrument that really shines clearly as a laser in that song.
Now back to the guy I met.
Through the woods towards me I saw a guy on a bicycle coming. He, as me, had a baseball cap on his head and was pedaling slowly watcing the ground no further than 1m in front of him. He had plug-ins in his ears I saw and as he got closer I could hear him sing as I had my hands inside my jacket to change song so nothing was playing at the time. Since his cap was covering his whole face as he almost looked straight down I watched him curiously. As he came closer I saw it was a guy maybe 18-20 years old in a thick winter coat with the red round mark signaling it was made in Canada as all living in the sometimes cold part of the world knows. I could not hear what he was singing since he didn't put a lot of force behind it but just as he passed I heard:
"...She was gonna shake her ass on the hood of Whitesnakes car..." .
I learn lyrics after hearing a song two times more or less and I never forget them again.
He was singing and listening to a song called 1985 by a group called Bowling for Soup and I smiled. We had a moment that you can share with none other than a guy nicelly smoked and in the same zone as you. He raised his head a bit as he saw my feet and we looked at eachother for not more than a second before we had passed eachother. As we looked into eachothers pink eyes we both smiled and nodded ever so slightly. As he disappeared out of my life I felt this sensational level of happiness, I thought I was gonna explode.
Coming out of the forest I choosed a way that took me through a few three story appartment blocks built in squares surrounding open areas with a small play ground for kids and some grass. These blocks covered the major part of the last kilometre to my home. I often stopped and from the shade watched people getting prepared for the day ahead. One guy read the paper while eating breakfast, in another window a mother was sitting at the table feeding a small baby with a spoon of some brown-greyish paste. Normal things in average Joe's lives but it still made me glad to know that the world right here at this moment was just as it should be.
I felt joy over the fact that I was there right then watching the world around me. Everything from a strangelly looking tree in the forest to a guy taking his morning smoke under the stove fan in his kitchen.
As I unlocked the door to my appartment and went in seeing the fog from my breaths disappear as I again entered an enviroment with above zero degrees temperature. I fed the cats and sat down starting to write:
"Screw this!!!
I finally gave up at 5.30 am and stod up, dressed, let the cats in and put the bong on the table in my living room. I then went into my walk in closet and looked at the shelf there at 12 small plastic boxes, ..."

Damn I read through it once more and well I don't write that badly normally but hey a g of White Widow 2minutes after you get out of the bed at 5.30 in the morning and I suppose my language skills improve.
I do want to correct one of the last sentences though so I don't look like a complete retard. It should read:
As I unlocked the door to my appartment and went in I watched the fog from my breaths disappear when I again entered an enviroment with above zero degrees temperature. I fed the cats and sat down starting to write:
hehe. ;)
Thanks for reading (if you did).

That is an awesome story. I love when experiences like that come along. I also love having such a heightened sense of appreciation for the simpler things in life. I wish more people could understand that about weed instead of vilifying it, but that's another story.
Music, food and sex. These things can be nothing short of epic when stoned. I'm not :stoned: right now, having only just woken up, so this cup of coffee is the best thing ever.
To be continued, I'm sure.

interesting read, haha cats get funny when u high. anyway in my opinion the best ever is to wake up, make myself a huge breakfast bt not eat it yet, go into my garden with a pre-rolled joint and smoke while i walk around inspecting flowers, grasses(the legal kind) and other plants. after that go inside, get my plate of food sit my ass on the couch with a good movie. then when im done eating i light a cigarette and mellow out.....
ah i get shivers thinking of it :)

Cool story, I've had that before when you look at someone and they look back and you both realise each other are baked and there is some connection between you and them :smokin:. I sometimes sing along to music walking about providing there is no one around so I don't look mental hehe :D
By the way that colour thing when you listen to music is called synesthesia, a mixing of the senses, you experienced/have sound --> colour synesthesia.

Thanks.
In fact I still some days after still feel as strongly about those hours as I did when I wrote that. It was a magic morning for sure. :D
Anyway, I would love to get this one going and to hear what your fantastic moments are. Big and small.

Epic story, I really felt it dude. I would have to say one my best ever moment type things when stoned involved my cat. He is this huge furry grey-blue monster of the British Blue breed. But get this, he is the result of incest so although technically pure-bred ;-), he is slightly not a perfect example of the breed. He's not retarded though. He also has FIV btw, no kidding its like a feline version of HIV.
Anyway, I was sitting by the fire chilling and listening to tunes (a warm fire rules, and stops me trembling when I smoke which sometimes happens). The cat hopped up on my lap and curled up. I started to stroke him and suddenly through the sensation of my hand touching his fur, I could sort of visualize exactly the shapes and contours of fur I could feel. Not hallucinating mind, just experiencing. Amazing it was, I zoned out for like ten minutes doing that and he was purring like crazy. When I was back my sis was just like what happened there, have fun?
Hard to put into words. I'm a half-Swede myself and proud of it..I do speak the language and all but cant write it very well. I'm kinda surprised though, I thought stoners were quite rare in Sweden. I was there last year for Where The Action Is at Universitiet and was talking to a guy who said it was pretty unusual. Actually, my uncle is a newsreader/ presenter for tv4 who you'd probably recognize.
Anyway, cool thread and great story.

Kewl thread and neat experience's!
I've had a few. Last night I was leaving my RV and was on the very very lightly baked. I closed the door and happened to look up (I tend to always do that-snakes will be out in weeks, so will have to stop) and I saw a almost half-sized moon with a few stars around it. It seemed like it was traveling so fast my head could spin.
I took a mental mark on my RV top to the moon and held a still as possible. The moon seemed to be moving South and the Clouds North, which made it seem like it was even moving faster. All the while, I was getting dizzy! It was a beaut of a site, so clear and close, as if I could have jumped up there and touched them!
then I start thinking, guess the moon and stars are closer to the Earth this time of year and this special little place of mine! I had a similar Moon experience in stone cold sober times several years ago. It just feels like you can touch it and take a ride on the magic moon carpet ride! I love astronomy and all things real!
It warms my heart just writing it! One of those things, if you had that special person, you'd want to go and get and say, "hey look at this!" :stoned:  PR

Hehehe, cool story Puffzter. It definitely inspires me to do something similar tomorrow morning.
I was kind of grumpy this morning actually. After reading your story though, I remembered something... I remembered that right here, right now, is the best thing in life! Just being alive...being part of existence, seems to content me. I just remembered that, there's this huge solar system working together, that keeps our earth warm and kicking. It's all working together to keep me, you, and everybody on earth, alive and kicking! The universe is my god and I feel good that it's doing its thing to provide us with this wonderful experience we call Life.
Anyhow, the best thing to do, however...would be to climb a mountain, I'd say. It makes me feel incredibly good to work hard and achieve a goal. When the goal is relaxing on top of the world, it sure is very motivating. It just feels right to be up high and free to me, it feels like perfection. I'm going to do it right now.
Yeah, I like getting high. :stoned:
Great posts people, keep 'em coming!
