I have been a daily user of pot for about a month now. I seem to function completely normally, and notice no diminished stamina or loss of ability to function rationally.

Was all that crap we were taught in school wrong? I mean, shouldn't I be on the streets, homeless....begging/stealing to get more drugs? I feel fine, in control, and essentailly uneffected from the drug once the high flames out.

Why do I use the drug? There's no better way to relax, and it really does allow you to think about things from another perspective.

I'd say I have actually benefited from the drug, not harmed by it.

How many here use the herb daily and live a normal life?

Hell yea, well I used to. To be honest, this year is a bit tough on me, with college and musical practices. I often don't find time at all to smoke other than on the weekends. But that is one of the most responsible things you can do, when you notice it drags you down, in school or other areas, you cut back. When life gets a little less hectic I plan on smoking everyday again. But I get you man, last year I smoked everyday, and the year before that, hell I'd just get home light up and play guitar for hours, rush my homework at night, study last minute, and I still got all A's, well almost all. All other areas I functioned normally, a lot of people can do that, others can't. I say if you can smoke everyday and it doesn't drag you down, by all means do; if not then it's time to consider stopping. And yes, all they taught you is bull.

Good points. I may actually cut back a little. My problem is that if I have it, I want to smoke it...lol

For the most part, the goverment, quite simply, is full of crap. However, before I fully understood the benefits of moderation, I smoked to the point of "burning out" as they say. Smoking in reasonable amounts greatly enhances life. Smoking 24/7 just sucks.

keep an eye out for my "Marijuana Guide," coming soon :smokin:

Do yourself a favor and watch Reefer Madness. If this doesn't match your lifestyle, do your best to comply. As for use, just try to keep it in perspective. Its not all the time, just in the afternoons...and all day on the weekends...

People of all walks of life smoke weed whether they be the stereotype or defying it. It doesn't particularly matter because so many people toke.
