View Full Version : Faster growing strain?

I have recently decided it is just a bit to dangerous to cross the TX/NM border to see my old grower and the only stuff I have been able to come across where I live has got to be 50% seed/stem or from someone so shady I just don't care to be within 100 feet of them.
So the time has come to get my green thumb going again.
My proposed indoor setup will be running LED grow lights, good old fashion soil, and individual grow chambers (everything else didn't feel pertinent enough to be listed here)
And my strain needs to be able to grow indoors and most importantly have a fast flowering time. So far I've come down to Shiskaberry(~40days) and Top 44 (~44days)
Has anyone grown these strains? Does anyone know of faster flowering ones?
Thanks in advance,
moleman

northern lights is a good beginner strain. heavy yields, early finisher, good THC content, and forgiving to grow. or you could get an AF strain.

usually the early flowering ones to me arent worth it, because i would rather just wait a little longer for the usually more potent longer flowering pot that yeilds 2x more. if you really want to get it as quick as possible though i would recomend some seeds by joint doctor or mdanzig. right now on Joint doctors site he has up some lowryder x New york city diesel! from seed to bud it finishes in 8-9 weeks :stoned: definitely a good buy in my opinion. you could also grow some others types that arent autoflowering but their fast like early misty, Early Girl, Supersonic, First lady, Guerrilla Gold, Timewarp, M-39, ... i would recomend the lowryder x NYCD though just me :rastasmoke:

A lot of super fast strains are commerical strains. M39 is an example. You are bet off choosing a strain that suits your grow style instead.
Before we go any further- are you INTENT on using LEDs? For veg they are great. For flower, they are about 5 years away from having all the kinks worked out and still VERY expensive. I'd choose a T5 grow fixture over LEDs any day of the week... and a HPS over either.
Also a lot of fast strains were bred for outdoor growing in Canada. This means they may not be suited to an indoor environment. Outdoor strains tend to stretch more and have lower bud density. These adaptations are to prevent fungus after a fall rainstorm.
Try something like a Hindu Kush, Northern Lights, Skunk#1, HashBerry, or other very stable indoor noobie strain if you are just getting started. All of those have reasonable flower times and grow well indoors.

S.A.G.E.
S.A.G.E. takes about 70-75 days
