ok..im going to try to make this as short and sweet as possible while trying still to get my point across...Ok..I have been smoking since the age of 14. Im 26 now. Now Im used to smoking "mids". Thats what they are called here..not necessarily schwag and not hydro either. So about 3 weeks ago I smoked some very sticky hydro and had a horrific panic attack. I smoked about 3 blunts of it with some friends in about 2 hours time. I know now that may have been too much to smoke in one sitting. Anyways I calmed down after going to sleep for a couple hours. So the next day I feel kinda weird not really myself u know. I go to the ER and get them to do an EKG and check my blood and urine and everything is ok. So the next couple days I smoke mids like i normally do (maybe 3 blunts a day)..and maybe on day 4 I experience another panic attack while smoking mids. Now this one wasnt has potent and frightened because I knew what was going on and I just rode out the racing heartbeat. So now here we go 3 weeks later and I cant smoke a 1 inch roach with the racing heartbeat and just feeling all around uncomfortable. I hate this because herb is what i used to deal with stress and to give me relaxation. I feel like im a train wreck with severe depression now. Im not interested in doing ANYTHING anymore. All i do is think about how much i want to smoke. Ive always been a worrier and i think it suddenly just caught up to me. I think the herb is amplifying my paranoia somehow and making my brain cause my heart to flip out..Please any1 have any suggestions on what I should do? I cant fathom living the rest of my days with no herb...its just so blah.. Ive started drinking for a buzz and I really dont want to take that route...Im also contemplating seeing a psychiatrist to work out my anxiety and paranoia..ANYONE HELP PLEASE!!!!:(:(:(:(

i have a few friends actually who will refuse to get high with anyone anymore because of anxiety attacks. way back in the day i had a friend who would start sweating and hyperventilating after just a couple of hits and my girlfriend says that when she smokes her mind starts racing and she thinks about bad things.
in my opinion, getting high is different for everyone and some people were not cut out to be weedsmokers. its not to say that you can never get high again, but there are other issues in your life that need to be resolved before getting high can be a peaceful experience. ive had friends whove been alcoholics and tried to use weed instead and they had the anxiety attacks with weed.

yeah ur right it is different for everyone..but the thing that wont sit right with me is how ive been able to smoke 4..5 blunts a day for damn near 12 years and now i cant take any green at all?? i mean ive been stressed and have had paranoia for a long time and now all of a sudden its such a big prob? i think since that first attack from the really potent stuff my brain has become "afraid" of the weed now and i associate that fear with smoking..shit i dunno what to do..

Maybe, you can try using all of your "paranoid" thoughts to help the herb become a free-radical scavenger (in your stomach), create freer flow of blood, and, interact with every single cell in your body- telling it to be calm or wake up.
Meditate or do Pilates.

But, if he smokes, even mids, he just can't catch-up with his own brain. Freaks him out.

If I leave it alone, it redlines.
Lotta fun, but not useful for making a living, or connecting with other humans.

Not for nothin', but if you wish to remain a "viper", (Damn! I'm old.). try smoking weed without the Nicotine.
The whole "blunt" thing really puzzles me.
Good way to miss the taste of fine bud, ruin your health, and get addicted to nicotine, all at the same time,ya? :wtf3:
Still, Nicotine will affect ones heart rate, so roll a joint, borrow a bong, pinch a pipe, chug some bhang, whatever floats your boat.
Just to see if the blunt is part of that fear association.

All i can say is wait awhile until its all out of your system..then try again. OR, try smoking alone if you have been smoking with your buddies while this was happening.

weezard u may a point with the blunt thing.. i mean its been my primary means of smoking since a teen..i really didnt like anything else but a blunt..and i used to smoke ciggs occasionally but now way more due to tha fact i cant smoke green. abrandnewL, im going to wait until its all outta my system and try smokin outta my clear glass peice and see how i feel. thanks for all the replies guys and or gals!

Try smoking less to where you just get a buzz, not completely ripped, but still have enough sense to function almost to your fullest. Do it in a relaxed place and time where you dont have to worry about getting caught or others knowing your high. With friends of course and put on some chill music, sit back, and enjoy. Know when to say when
