so i bought some virgin coconut oil a few days a go and it looks like a white solid. i open it up to take a look at it and it smells great and indeed a solid.
grocery store was prety cold.

i come home and stick it in my closet. the next day i see it and its looks all watery. and formed two layers, one thick whity layer and the oily part on top.

is this normal?? should i just shake it really good and cool it down so its back to a solid?

Hi All

Your coconut oil sounds just fine!!!!

BTW coconut oil is high in saturated fat and will soak up massive amounts of THC.

Also it takes a very high temperature to burn it.

It will all go back together when it is totally cool.

Not to worry mate it goes liquid somewhere around 75 to 80 degrees. lower than that and its a white paste like solid. store it in the fridge if it bothers u no harm anyway, it just looks different.

you say massive amounts.??!! ive only used regular oil with 2 or so grams of saturated fat. and it seems prety strong, but kinda want something more for my buck. bud prices here suck compared to mainland prices..(hawaii)

Hello fredobox! Coconut oil turns from a clear liquid into a hard, white solid at temperatures below 76 degrees F (24 C). Whether solid or liquid, it's health properties don't change. It's still the same good old coconut oil. It just depends on what state you need coconut oil to be in for your requirements.
