so one of my plants has grown like 3 inches in the past day! pretty freakin cool! the other one i had a lamo to close to it and it burned a lil but otherwise its doin fine. i think that may be why its lagging behind a little. the smallest is doing good too. the tips of the leaves have started drying up but only on one or two leaves on each plant. anyways im real excited it should be must longer before they start showing their sex. ill post some pics if anyones interested. o and the tallest is now like 14 or 15 inches should i repot yet? they are in 5.5 and 6 inch pots.

Please do post some pics. I'd be interested to hear more about the setup. I hope it is 3 inches of growth and not 3 inches of stretch.

let's see what you've got.

i know the grow set up isn't very sophisticated and there isnt a lot of light but i don't expect them all to be females so at least one of them will be gone by the time theyre all sexed.

yow! that is a lot of stretch. I like to have less than an inch between nodes. It's ok for now.

It looks like you are using 6 CFLs? Get them as close to the plants as possible, about 1 inch away.

Is that 5 headed light adjustable? if so i would try positioning the lights directly over the tops of the plants so they are all fully covered and getting blasted with light. get the plants as close together as possible (i would put them in a triangle , pots touching) and use those 5 lights to the max. You could then stick that long skinny light vertically into the middle of the three plants to supplement the under growth.

you could also benefit from some reflection. Build a box Out of cardboard or foam-core, paint the inside flat white or use mylar. You need to use as much light as possible.

Are you planning on upgrading the setup at all? more/better lighting? I know you are probably growing 3 to increase your chance of females. Hopefully you get one. One plant surrounded by those 6 lights would probably do pretty well.

We'll stop there for now. Others will have more info to add.

I understand you want to sex them before getting a better setup, but still if you keep making them stretch like this you'll end up with a really tall plant that can't hold the weight of the buds.

I'm with Skeet on the light setup, if you can't add more light over them, try at least to get them closer...

well after moving them to take the picture i couldnt get them back the way they were. i was high and quite incapable of figuring out how to get them next to each other in a way that they would all get light. so theyve been moved ill post more pics.

new set up. o and the stems have gotten like twice as thick as they used to be in like the past week or two. they are only a little smaller than my pinky finger! and the intersection between the stem and the leaves is now growing leaves.
