Ebay grow stuff?

Has anyone got any of the stuff on ebay? I was looking at maybe a grow tent and/or a HPS light. Anyone have any info good/bad?

i have purchased little things from ebay for growing with no problems
the bigger stuff like lights and tents is very expensive to ship so i don't buy them from flea bay i get them from local stores
get them to give you a price for shipping before purchase
pay pal is a good way to buy things they cover you if you get ripped off,
i have had good luck so far with flea bay
always check there feed back and some nutes are not aloud to cross the border (us to canada)mainly orgranic nutes

I have got allot of stuff off ebay. You are right about the shipping on some. Just wasn't sure if they are crap. If so I will get one from my grow shop.

That doesn't mean you need to spend a million dollars or go get a digital ballast and every best thing out there, but quality makes quality, ya know?

Thats what I was thinking. The only thing is allot of times things like that are made by a major co. Was looking for someone that has both a good brand and the cheaper ebay stuff.

I've bought quite a lot of ebay. I get some stuff from htgsupply. My 1000 watt hps ballast that I bought from htg went out saturday. Called them this morning and there shipping a new one out to me today. Luckily I had T5 system for backup.

Question? Has anybody used any of those leds, they are real cheap on ebay I was just wondering if they really worked? And can that big 90 watt led really replace the power and lumms of a 400watt hps fixture??? I have had good results on ebay so far, but I know you gotta be carful I dont know who said it buts it really good to check feed back esp on items sold that your intrested in.

i think you would be ok with small stuff maybe even lights and ballasts.try to stick to sellers that own actual stores....DO NOT and i mean DO NOT by tents off of ebay unless they are from one of these locations that is known to sell authentic merchandise. my friend got a 4x8 hydro tent off somebody. they posted the pics of hydrofarms indoor habitat. when it showed up it was worth about $20 bucks and made in Indonesia.still hasn't gotten his money back yet.i say this about the tents because they are very easy to replicate and they make them look usable but a lot of people out there are making dangerous fire hazard tents that have no name and making a ton of cash of these scams,not to scare you though.there are a lot of good people on ebay.its just about willing take a chance..
