What's the deal with kush?

How come whenever rappers talk about them smoking, they are always smoking kush?...Im sure there are stronger strains out there. I don't know if I've ever had it before, I rarely know the names of my product. Is it a different high? Whats the deal?:rastasmoke:

Kush refers to any landrace strain of Cannabis from the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan, near the Pakastani border. Some common strains of kush are Bubba Kush, Master kush and OG kush. Some are not pure kush, as they have been crossed with non-kushs. Generally speaking, kush is always an indica. When used for intoxication they, generally produce a body high, as opposed to the typical sativa cerebral high.

the strong body highs from kush's make them a popular breeder. I personal think that people, ie rappers, like that overly sedated feeling from indicas. They need that feeling to feel high. Some say sativas, more mental high, dont "feel" as high because the body high is missing. I understand, but love sativas. I guess its all personal preferences. Like some to get high off lagers and others ales. whos cares, drink and smoke up!
