I was thinking of opeining a hydro shop.
Any ideas of what I would need?

Well, of course you're going to want lights, pumps, mediums, fertilizers, alot of literature, many tools commonly used in hydroponics and growroom construction, and if you're in a country that does not have prohibition, even cannabis seeds. Also, you'd also want to have a small stock of numerous other seeds of different plant species, especially vegetables.

You know, that kind of stuff. Think about anything YOU could possibly need for hydroponics. pH Test kits? Hand microscopes? Staple guns? The works. Oh, and friendly service! = D

Actcually I do live in the UNited states. the hydro shop I go to is about 45 min away.
There has to be a better way. There has to be other of like minded peeps in the eara that would NOT want to go 45 min just to get nutes.
I was toying with the idea of a small one.
nothing fancy schmancy, just a basic dro shop for supplies, lights, nutes vegitables,pumps ect ect.

And what would a clean criminal record have to do with opening up a legit vegi hydro shop????

I've been thinking the same thing for awhile now, what nobody has mentioned and is the biggest hurdle is a business plan, how are you going to get your start-up capital? you'll need to get permits to start a small business as well as the proper tax paperwork...Small Business Administration - Small Business Planner (http://www.sba.gov/smallbusinessplanner/index.html)

Hope your future customers haven't read your posts about stealing weed whenever you find it. 'Fess up, you want to sell them supplies and follow them back to their patches! I want to be able to TRUST my suppliers. That is the most important thing you need to start any business.:D Hey-you asked.
