I am new to the boards and have been lurking for the last couple weeks reading everything I can. I want to thank you all for the amazing wealth of knowledge shared. A long time ago I was a smoker, but have just come back to it for medical reasons.
I have had fibromyalgia for about 15 years and have gotten to a place where medications Arent helping - I'm sure you have all heard it before. My biggest problems lately are insomnia and really tight muscles. I bought a Purple Days vape (again, thanks for all the info) and have been trying different buds. The first few seemed to only make me agitated and twitchy. Last night though, I got some stuff that I can only compare to ecstacy. It has a wonderful tingly body high, with every thing feeling wonderful. My pain was all gone and I was clearheaded and able to focus without constantly going off on tangents. It didn't knock me out until the decline.
So, this stuff came from a friend of a friend and I have no idea what it is. I'm thinking of doing a small soil grow, and I was hoping that someone could tell me the name of a strain with a similar experience. Thanks!

Welcome to the threads! Sounds like a good experience, Ive had some my father grown a while back it was White widow-Jamacian(Lambs Breath)-And some unknown skunk that he had. All these crossed mad a wonderful Body tingly high and was very clear headed and once it was declining it was nighty night. It is hard to find certain strains where im from it is more of. You got any? Is it good? Ok ill buy some. So i Cant help you more then try some of the white widow or a cross breaded strain

hello and welcome to can.com.
here's a link to one of Storm Crows threads, maybe this will help.
either way, make contact with her, she has much knowledge relating
to mmj.
Granny's links to cannabis/health-related abstracts (http://boards.cannabis.com/medicinal-cannabis-health/126827-grannys-links-cannabis-health-related-abstracts.html)
from your description i'd guess the stuff you didn't like was sativa
dominant and the stuff you did like was indica dominant.

He's right, sometimes you can find seeds for the best strains in the oddest of places.

Hi.
Also new to this forum, and unfortunately also a fibro sufferer. Was diagnosed four years ago after I underwent multiple shoulder surgeries...pain never went away, then got worse.
I'd be interested in talking to you regarding strains that work for fibro. I have just recently made the decision to get my MMAR card (long story as to why I waited); as I've been on every pain med there is - you know what I am talking about - this is my last chance at some sort of relief.
Oh,are you in Canada, or the Excited States ;) ?
Looking forward to chatting with you.
Cheers
